Campus
 The College has a magnificent building surrounded with lush green garden where the students get fresh air and a natural stress free atmosphere that promotes learning. A unitary spacious three-floored building exclusively for Nursing Education provides conducive teaching – learning

KIMS School and College of Nursing

Lecture Halls
We have spacious, well ventilated and sufficiently furnished lecture halls to accommodate 100 candidates in each UG classroom & 25candidates in each PG classroom. The building has  number of classrooms which are fully equipped with modern technological facilities to enrich the teaching such as AV Aids, OHP, LCD, Chalk Boards, Sound system etc. This facilitates higher degree of learning as well as interaction between faculty and student.

Nursing Foundation Lab

This is the basic foundation lab where the students learn basic nursing procedure. This lab is equipped with all the articles, charts and models etc. needed to practice varieties of procedures.

Nutrition Lab

This lab has all the essential equipment for cooking demonstrations related to balanced diet for different age groups, types of diet for different disease conditions, and the list of nutrients and also charts related to nutritional deficiencies and treatment

Pre-Clinical Lab

The Nursing college is attached with medical college for Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pathology with models,3D charts, specimens, manikins and cadaver for live experimentation and experience in the related areas.

Medical Surgical Nursing Lab

 Well-equipped laboratory with mannequins, that facilitates to improve advanced clinical skills of the students  in the field of   Medical Surgical Nursing.

Community Lab

This lab is equipped with all the innovative and qualitative materials, models, charts, and flash cards which are required for field work.

MCH Lab

This lab has all the essential equipment related to mother and child care. Equipped with advanced working models, charts, instruments through which students can learn and expertise in the field of MCH.

Advance Nursing Practice Lab

The lab is well equipped with all the modern equipment’s like  CPR manikin, intubation equipment, ventilator, suction apparatus,  defibrillator, ECG monitor, pulseoxymeter, incubators, baby warmer with phototherapy, crash cart, emergency and first aid equipment’s, etc for learning the advanced skills of nursing like lifesaving skills, comprehensive care of patients, emergency care, critical care, ect.

Av aids Lab

 The college has got fully equipped AV aids lab with LCD, OHP,TV, Computer, Slide Projector, Tape recorder, DVD, CD’s, Readymade Models and student made Models, Specimens, Flannel board, Puppets, graphical aids for effective teaching programme and for conducting awareness Programmes and health Programmes in hospital and community area.

Computer Lab

The management has provided an exclusive computer lab containing systems with latest configuration with all the licensed software needed for the lab. We have appointed the most efficient and experienced faculty members to help the students attain insight into computer application and its use for nurses. The lab provides good internet facilities from BSNL leased line internet connection at 36 MBPS. The college has annual subscription from Dr. NTR University Med net to browse thousands of e-journals and e-books.

Library
The college has its own library with biometry, reading and seating facility, good lighting and ventilation. The library has wide range of relevant books and journals of latest edition which are upgraded and added every year. The library has text books, periodicals, newspapers for general reference. It also includes Digital Library with Med net facility where students can browse thousands of journals, e- books, abstracts of research articles, presented papers etc.. For the purpose of research and journal club presentation, our library has specific collection of 8 National journals and 11 International journals under various specialization of nursing. The library facilitates the PG students & faculty with separate huzzel free reading cubicles.

Multipurpose Hall
The auditorium is furnished with 1250 modern seating capacity, platform and other necessary facilities, fully air conditioned and equipped with Digital Multimedia Systems. Programmes such as Annual day, Lamp lighting, Fresher’s & Farwell,  Graduation ceremonies etc  are conducted here.  Our Medical college is the center for Dr. NTRUHS Theory examinations for nursing students of our college and colleges in Nalgonda district and  these exams are conducted in this multipurpose hall.

Auditorium
The auditorium is furnished with modern seating arrangements which can accommodate 650 people. It has got a good platform, inbuilt LCD facilities with Good AV aid and other necessary facilities. The monthly ongoing student welfare programs, celebration of festivals and other extracurricular activities are conducted in the auditorium. Various seminars, Workshops, Conferences related to the branches of Nursing Curriculum have been organized in the auditorium.

Seminar Hall
The college of Nursing has its own seminar hall with all the required AV aids, which is mainly used by PG students for seminar and classroom teaching presentations. The monthly CNE under the Faculty Development program are also conducted here. The college also has access to Seminar hall in KIMS Hospital building.

Transportation
The students are provided with comfortable transportation for their clinical destinations, educational trips and observational visits. Transportation is also provided to church and the nearest Nalgonda railway station on vacation.
